Your service includes world class identity theft support from experts who can help you every step of the way. It’s called ITAC Victim Assistance®. Once we’ve determined that you may have become a victim, our ITAC Victim Assistance professional will:
- Obtain a current credit report and review it with you to look for evidence of fraud.
- If fraud is found, we will notify each of the creditors to begin an investigation.
- Provide case file and affidavit information to law enforcement.
- Provide a complete summary of the interview process and assistance to make follow-up easy.
ITAC Victim Assistance can help you with respect to certain activity that shows up in your credit report. However, identity thieves frequently use personal information in ways that do not appear there. If you suspect your information is being used or has been stolen for employment, government benefits or other purposes it is important to contact these organizations as necessary or appropriate. We do not contact these organizations for you. Certain of our services, such as Public Record Reports, may also help detect that your identity is being misused.
